Snake Wars
Grow a snake from your nest, draw its path with a finger, and take the arena one nest at a time. 50 levels, offline, no ads.
Overview
Snake Wars is a one-thumb strategy game about turning your base into an army. Hold your nest to grow a snake, release it, then draw the route it takes. Grind down rival snakes, siege their nests and flip the map, across 50 levels and five animated arenas.
Every nest on the map is a bank of life, and yours is the only one you can spend. Hold it and that life pours into a snake; let go and the snake sets off. From there the game is about commitment. A long snake can flatten a nest but leaves you with nothing at home, while a handful of small ones can harass three fronts and win none of them.
Command is a single gesture. Touch a snake's head, draw where it should travel, and it follows; draw a closed loop instead and it patrols that ring, cutting off anything that tries to pass. When two snakes meet they lock together and shrink until one dies, so a fight is a wager on length. When a snake reaches an enemy nest it starts draining it, and if it survives long enough that nest turns your colour with whatever length is left over.
Fifty levels sharpen that idea: rivals get more life, get smarter, and from level ten they start bringing power-ups of their own. Six power-ups, bought with Rat and picked into a three-slot loadout: the Crowned Snake, Rabbit lure, Speedy Snake, Scissors, Barrier and Baby Snakes. Five arenas swap the world out every ten levels: Cyber Grid, Toxic Jungle, Magma Core, Deep Nebula and the Golden Arena, each drawn in vectors and animated while you play.
It runs fully offline with no account, no internet permission and no tracking, carries no ads and no timers, and installs in about 25 MB. Finished and in final testing ahead of its Android release.
